The celebration was a huge success. We managed to get everyone home for birthday wishes and the sox were on their way to World Champs!
Since this is a Darien IL blog I should begin to tell the story about "the neighbors".
So, not only did Mom celebrate with family we had neighbors over to watch the game and sing to Mom!
This is a close knit group of neighbors. We not only know each other but also our families. We have celebrated many holidays, spring breaks, religious events,graduations and sad to say death of grandparents, parents and kids.
This journal started on a sad beginning it was suppose to be a way of connecting each other because we are within walking distances of each other and pick up the phone to call and email at times has been our lifeline. So I decided to journal about this awesome group of "neighbors" since we have been here 12 years they have become my second family and more times than not my first.
This will be a journal and a life line of communication amongst each other..... I'll get this girls technical yet!
